Protagonist NFTs

Protagonists (C-Series)
Protagonists are 1/1 NFTs which represent a playable character and its save file. They can be named and leveled up, and they can also choose a class. (Check the Protagonists page for gameplay and usage info.)
These NFTs utilize arc69 properties to store: Name, Level, Race, Class, and Edition (i.e. Standard, Holo, and Unique, detailed in the sections below). All of this information is transferred over if the NFT itself is transferred.
C-Series
The first "Classic" Protagonist Series. A total of 26 C-Series Protagonists (labelled a-z) are minted for each of 12 races, for a total of 312 copies sold. (Note: 1-2 'unlettered' copies are reserved for admin/testing use, but are not for sale.)
All races are essentially balanced (none is inherently better than the others), but feature different stats. Typically, they have a primary stat and a secondary stat, found here.
The NFT images are stored on Google Cloud, so they are mutable (much like arc-0019). This allows for skins, or alternate artwork for these Protags. The first official skins were two characters (Fox and Orc) that featured in a collab with NRPG.
S-Series
The second "Standard" Protagonist series. A total of 100 per race for 12 races total, with four color variants for each race. These have the same stats as C-Series Protags, but feature new art.
Currently minted: Elf, Ancient, Beastkin (Wolf), Orc
Holo
In addition, each Protagonist also has a Holographic (Holo) variant (5 copies per Protagonist) in collaboration with good friend Nytromeda, for a total of 60 Holos. They feature the base art of the Protags (seen above) with animated effects. Holos have an additional +1 LCK, but otherwise little gameplay difference. (They are just very aesthetic.)
Unique
A number of Unique Protagonist will also be produced. Currently, there are 3 Unique Protagonists: Valeria, a collaboration piece with Project Aegir; Zeno, an original character designed for an NRPG Collab; and Puck, a Lemon Legion Little Pucker. Future plans include important NPCs in the world, more collaborations, and some custom Protagonists.
Typically, Unique Protags have a bonus stat compared to Standard Protags.
In addition to playable Protagonists, any good RPG needs items. Many of these take the form of Collectible Cards, coming up next.
