The Summary
Arcadian Tales is a text-based RPG on Algorand, currently run entirely by a Discord Bot. Players explore the world of Arcadia, a fantastical land of 12 distinct races, with their characters known as "Protagonists" (1/1 NFTs).
Think DnD without the logistics and massive time commitments. Think JRPG with a huge community aspect and open-world design. Add on some P2E, and you have Arcadian Tales.
To summarize the game in five points:
Discord-based. Everything is run by the custom Arcadian Bot, with the exception of wallet transactions. (Future plans to port it to browser, too.)
Protagonist-centered. Name, customize, and level up your Protagonist NFT by playing.
Adventure-full. Go on daily Solos and hourly Wanders. Travel to actual locations in the world, get some lore, and roll some dice. (With more to come.)
Play-to-Earn. Earn some ARC and Coupons by playing. Spend your ARC on Collectible Cards. Use your CP for Arcadian Tales or the Grocery Store Game.
Big plans. Game dev takes time. But we have plans for an involved combat system, quests, crafting, co-op / PvP. Ever dreamed of a text-based MMO?
