Collectible Card ASAs

"Gotta catch 'em all!" ― Pokemon Theme song

The Collection

Isn't collecting things fun? Well, the ASA items in Arcadian Tales are in the form of Collectible Cards, representing equipment, collectibles, etc. that have gameplay function. Most of them can be purchased with Arcadian Gold Coins (ARC).

They come in different rarities, types, and Sets, outlined below.

How Cards Work

Rarity

The rarity of a card represents its mint quantity (dependent on set) and price. The quantity is expected to remain constant from Set 2 onwards, but may depend on demand.

Most cards are reserved for the ARC Coin Shop, although a limited quantity of Commons and Rares are dropped for Algo. Legendaries cannot be bought with Algo.

*Set Bonus is a special rarity for certain sets that is earned by collecting all the cards in the set.

(In the future, limited edition "Holo" versions of certain older cards may be released. But you didn't hear it from me.)

Types

There are currently four types (categories) of Cards with differing functions.

Accessories

Can be equipped to a Protagonist for stat bonuses. A maximum of two Cards can be equipped to a Protag at once. Duplicate Cards cannot be equipped.

Card Sets

Regular Sets (numbered) are semi-thematic sets released in batches of 8 cards. Collecting the whole set gives a bonus collectible.

The Adventurer's Set (Set 1)

A set of cards released in December 2021. This was the first set, with very low mint quantities. It is themed after the Guildmaster character, and a beloved JRPG.

The Hero King's Set (Set 2)

A set of cards released in April 2022. This set has boosted mint quantities. It is themed after the Hero King character, and a beloved tactics game.

Collab Set

The Collaboration (Collab) Set is an ongoing set of collaborative cards. These are collaborations with other projects in the Algorand Community.

The following cards also have bonuses with the projects they are associated with:

Tales Set

The Tales Set is a separate set of promo cards distributed to commemorate special events. There is only one Card at the moment, commemorating the first "Campaign" event, but more will come.

Also worth mentioning are certain collab pieces that are not minted under these two main wallets. Onto the next page.
